Issues with accessibility

Greetings,

Some countries have imposed accessibility rules for a number of pages, and we're having trouble with our theme of choice, BeTheme. The main problems are the following:

  1. The .icon-menu-fine seems to be in a <i> tag, which returns en error when tested for WCAG 2.0 (AA) guidelines. Is it possible to put it in a <span> instead?
  2. The Logo on the header doesn't show alt="" which is also an error in WCAG 2.0 (AA) guidelines. (even when the image itself has an alt name set.). Some automatic testers will not read the alt when added with javascript after the loading of the page, unfortunately.

Thank you

  • Hi,

    1) We are currently working to improve the accessibility for Betheme, but I cannot tell you when exactly this update will be released. If you would like to change this tag, you will have to modify the theme files, but we do not provide help with such customization.

    2) Can you explain it greater, please?

If you set the alt tag for the logo image, it will be added.

    Thanks
