Open photobox link in same page

I am using the Photo Box code (shown below) in the Visual editor of the page to display three images which works great, but when I click on the images it opens the link in a new tab. I

 want to open in the same page so have changed the target from _blank to _self but it still isnt working. What shortcode do i need to use?
