Hi. I tried to implement a fixed background for mobile views but it appears not to work. Is there a trick to this or is this not possible?

On what devices you were testing?
Be aware that fixed position does not work for mobiles with iOS.
If you were testing with the Android, please, attach a link to your website, so I can take a closer look at it.

I was testing on my Samsung S21 Android. Here is the link: https://4pi.e8e.myftpupload.com/
By the way, don't use the footer menu as it will take you to a different website. Only use the header menu.
Please, open the section options go to Advanced -> Custom, and add the following line:
background-attachment: fixed!important;
