Search bar in top bar on mobile
Hi there,
I am currently trying to get the search bar in the top menu bar on mobile. I check the box in the screenshot, but this does not make it appear in the top bar (I would like it to always be immediately visible in the top bar). How do I do this?

Hi,
Please always attach a link to your website so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost), then our help will be limited. You will have to contact us when the page is online. Also, please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us with the link.
Moreover, please, ensure that you have the search enabled in Betheme -> Theme options -> Search -> Form.
Thanks
Hi there,
My bad. The link to my website is https://www.leukebordspellen.nl/
I double checked and search is enabled. It shows op in the header for desktop and tablet, but not for mobile.
Please, turn off all of the plugins, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.
Moreover, if you use a child theme, switch to parent, and recheck it.
If this will not help, please, keep all minifying plugins off because I need to check your website with them disabled.
Thanks
Hi,
The problem still persist after doing the above steps. I've left the minifying plugins disabled for now.
I can get the Search Icon to appear in the side menu, but not in the top bar.
Moreover, I now somehow also have the problem that my logo disappears from the sticky menu when scrolling down. It's just a white space with the side menu now.
The logo in the sticky menu disappears both on mobile and desktop by the way
I managed to solve the problem of the logo disappearing in the sticky header when scrolling by doing a database reset. However, I still can't add the search icon to the menu header on mobile.
Please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason.

Just did that!
The search field is visible only for the Default mobile header style.
To show it, please, switch this layout in the Responsive options.
Thanks
All right, thanks!
Just a quick final question: it does show up in the mobile menu bar now, but not sticky. I saw in a video of yours that it was sticky https://www.betheme.com/tutorial/how-to-set-up-and-manage-the-mobile-header/ (timestamp 3:31). Is something like this still possible or not anymore?
To show the search icon in the mobile header, you would have to switch to Icon in Betheme -> Theme options -> Search -> Form, and choose a layout other than Default
However, you can try to use the following CSS code:
Anyway, please, notice that our official documentation and videos can be found under the following link:

That's what I was looking for, thanks a lot!
One final question: is it not possible to have the search icon show up for the mobile header but the entire search bar for the desktop version? That would have my preference, but if that's not possible I'll just use it like this.
Unfortunately, there is no option to have one on desktop and the other on mobile.
Best regards
That's too bad but not that big a deal. My problem is solved then, thanks a lot!
