Sidebar Wdget Contents DISAPPEARED
Hello,
If for nothing else, in case somebody else has come across this...All of a sudden my sidbars disappeared. Or at least i thought that was the case. After running in circles, i finally realized that the contents of the sidebar widgets had been wiped out. The sidebars were there but completely empty.
I am now faced with having to recreate the sidebars using a wayback copy of the home page.
Has anybody else had this problem?

UPDATE: All the widgets in question were in the inactive area. No idea how this coul dhappen. I am th eonly one that maintains this site.

I wasn't doing anything. I went to the site and the home page which has both left and right sidebars had empty spaces where the side bars should be. Same with the footer widgets--gone. I went crazy trying to figure out why nothing was appearing. Even created a test page with sidebars...No sidebars. It turned out that every single sidebar widget plus the footer widgets were in the Inactive section on the widgets page. At least that made it a little easier to recreate. I used a Wayback snapshot and moved all the inactive widgets back to their proper sidebar and Voila! back the way it should be. I just don't get it. The way I see it, I would have to explicitly move every widget to inactive individually for this to happen. Right? There were a left and right sidebar containing 7 widgets and 4 footer widgets. All empty. If you look at the home page now everything is proper.

It is hard for me to determine what could actually happen.
As I said if this will happen again, please, let me know, and we will try to check what could be the reason.
