Lost focus / highlight on Navigation

If you visit the page example 'Portfolio', it has its highlight: https://www.diigo.com/item/image/6wmx/iyex

but once visit the item, it has no top high lighligh any more. Unlike the demo: http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/portfolio-item/portfolio-item-image

the highlight still remains showing where you are which is great.

What did I do wrong then?

Have you selected right page for portfolio in Theme options > Getting started > Portfolio section?

Yes, I did: https://www.diigo.com/item/image/6wmx/v5ma

Ok we see what is going on. This works on our demo because three first items has been added into menu and this is the reason why portfolio item is highlighted. But except that, it is not possible to do what you need because wordpress is not able to recognize if portfolio items belong to this menu item.
