Decorative setting - Fonts

In the BeTheme options, there is a section for font settings.
I can configure a font family for "decorative".
What does "decorative" mean?
Where is it used then?

It is used for some elements like Pricing Item, Counter, or Chart.
Mostly it is used for numbers.
