Do you use the Header Builder? If so, use the icon item with the smallest paddings as you can get.
If you are using the regular, prebuilt headers - please go to the Theme Options -> Menu & Action Bar -> Action Bar, and tick on the "Show above the header"
Then, go to the Theme Options -> Social, and fill the fields you are going to display.
All filled inputs will be displayed as a social links.

The Language Switcher can be placed only near the menu, it's default for WPML.
