Responsive Gallery Columns

Is there a way to make the responsive gallery say 3 or 4 columns like it would be on the desktop version? I am using the gallery shortcode and inserting their ID's to pull the images.

No problem. I used a plugin called "Fast Gallery" and it allows for fluid gallery layouts. Worked exactly how I wanted it.
