Social icons in Magazine Banner area

Hello, I know this may sound stupid, But i wanted to add your social icons into the banner header part of the magazine layout. Can you tell me how to do this please?
I put the short code in but it doesn't work, Thank you

I just added the short code into the banner area in extras on magazine theme:
[icon_bar icon="icon-facebook" link="https://www.facebook.com/" target="https://www.facebook.com/" size="large" social="facebook"]
And it just shows the code, do i have to write any extra code for them to show? Thanks

This section approve only html code. Shortcodes won't be parsed in this place unfortunately so it's not possible to use shortcodes in banner section.

Allowing shortcode to be used in the banner area. I was expecting that to be available when I purchased and was disappointed when it didn't work as envisioned.
