Problem with new external css files not being updated when site is migrated from staging to live

Hi,

We're having a problem on a number of sites and hope that you can help.

We understand that over the past few releases BeTheme is now writing css files, per post, into Uploads/betheme/css/

The problem we're having is that before those files were added, we've been able to use Muffin Builder Find & Replace plugin to update urls when we migrate a site from our hosting staging area to live. The files are physically moved.

The problem is that with the new external css files, the code on the pages/posts is being updated with Muffin Builder Find & Replace after the site has been moved to live, but the css in the new files is not being updated.

This is a problem for background images that implemented in css and the links are not being updated.

A temporary fix is to retain the staging site but we need a long term solution that isn't

a) editing each page w/background images and saving so the css file is updated or

b) do a search and replace on the new css files

This is very disruptive.

Is there a way to

1) delete and regenerate these css files

2) set Theme Options so the files are no needed?

We do not use the visual builder and will not be using it.

Thank you very much for your help with this problem, we can't be the only people having it.

Terry
