Hey there,

I'm wondering where is the setting to change the background colour for image galleries.

additionally i'm wondering where one can change the image caption font size + colour?

hopefully you can see the light grey border on this screencap

Please, use the following CSS code:

.gallery .gallery-item .gallery-caption{
   background: #213705;
   color: #fff;
   font-size: 20px;
}

Put it in Betheme -> Theme options -> Custom CSS & JS -> CSS.
