Problem still persists. Remove from cart button not working and update cart button is all grey out. I tried deactivating all plugins, clearing cache, and updated theme to newest version. But problem still persists.

I am hosting this website on ubuntu 20.04 with nginx. When I install the theme and go to dashboard, it says that it requires access to .htaccess file.
Is this compatible with nginx or Do I have to host it with apache ?
The .htaccess file Access is required only when you want to use the caching option from the Theme Options, so it should not have caused this issue.
