Working with templates / blocks
Hey Muffingroup,
So I have a website in which I have a custom page template. I will use it in maybe 40 pages.
How can I build this in a way that if changes are to be made, I only have to edit the template?
Now I made a custom pagetemplate, but when I import it to a page, changes to the template do not apply to the pages.
Thanks again.

Hi,
You can use the Global Sections/Wraps template:
https://support.muffingroup.com/video-tutorials/global-sections-wraps/
But they share the same content.
There is no option to set a dynamic layout where you can change the content within it.
Best regards
So if I am correct, if I apply a template with wraps/section grid to for example 40 pages there is no solution than to edit 40 pages if changes in the grid have to be made?
I mean, the whole point of templates is not having to edit single pages right?
Yes, you are correct. You will have to open each of these pages and edit them.
Page templates always worked this way, you can import the content, but it is not dynamic, and changes in the page template do not affect the pages where it was used.
Best regards
OK thanks. That might be a really really cool feature because it can save you tons of time during the building process.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Phil,
I have another question for you that you probably know an answer to. Below is a screen dump of my standard content page with two columns of text.
What would be the smartest way to create this regarding responsiveness of the page? If it's possible I'd like to know a solution that keeps me from using the same content with different design twice, one for desktop and one for mobile. Right now, because of the different margins, the mobile version doesn't look so good.
Please, check the following video tutorial:

Thanks
Ahh... nice, that was actually pretty logical. But it works great! Thanks!
