Pages Won't Accept Changes

Hi Be People,

I've got a theme that I'm trying to make changes and they are not accepted. Even when I save and update the page. I've deregistered the WPBakery and registerer it again and that hasn't helped. When I changed the copyright area that worked. It seems to the WPBakery end of things.

This is the website link: https://villas-elpaseo.com/

I want to update the phone number, map, stuff like that but it's not working.

What do you think is going on?

  • Hello,

Please, turn off all of the plugins, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.

Moreover, please, switch to another theme like Twenty Twenty, and see if the same thing happens then.

    Thanks

  • I did as you asked and turned off all plugins, refreshed cache, still didn't work. Active Twenty Twenty and I couldn't see anything on the pages so I activated the BeTheme again and still doesn't work.

    Any other ideas?

  • I have checked your website's source, and I can see that you are not using WPBaket, but BeBuilder.

Can you tell me what changes you performed? Did you change something in the existing elements, or you tried to add new ones?

Please share with us your PHPINFO file.

If you do not know how to do it, please check this topic:

  • Hi,

When I ready the dashboard it is saying it's running BeTheme, but when I'm on the pages trying to change the phone number it say WPBakery. Not sure how that work.

I'm a designer and not a developer/IT person so getting at the PHPINFO isn't something I"m comfortable with. Maybe I could send you the login privately so you can take a look?

Let me know how I can be of help and thanks.

  • Hello,

    1) You have to contact your hosting provider and ask him about increasing the PHP MAX INPUT VARS to min. 5000, after that your pages will be possible to save.

    2) We strongly suggest to update the theme to latest version, the one you have is really old, like 6-7 years old.

Please head to the link we provided below, where you will find all of the information on how you can update the theme successfully.

    Thanks
