Question about the travel demo

I'm trying to create a similar homepage like the one on your travel demo where the slider and a text content is side by side. I installed the demo homepage but there is this space between the text and the slider. Look here: http://www.drumpedals.org/
How can I make it so that the text block and the slider is right next to each other without any space?

please send us screenshot of which space you mean, as we don`t see anything wrong on your website.
