Templates 404 page error

Dear reader,

Everytime I want to change something in my templates (header and footer), the follow screen pops up:

Its kinda annoying, since I wanted to change my navigation bar, and had to rebuilt it. So I did, but now I want to change something small in the top header, and I can't adjust the third version of the nav bar.

Why does the URL keep changing, since the error is an 404 page.
