text changes are not saved

Wordpress 6.1.1, PHP 8.1.17 and latest betheme version 26.7.5 – I can change images and other stuff, but text changes will not be saved without any errors after clicking on update button. What can be the reason for that?

  • Hi,

Do you have any caching tools enabled on your server or caching plugins installed on your WordPress?

If yes, please disable them, and check if the problem persists.

    Thanks

  • Hi, no there are no caching plugins active at the moment – by the way database version is MySQL 10.5.18-MariaDB-0+deb11u1

another problem appears now – when I click on the pencil of a picture to change settings or image – nothing happens.

if you leave the page and reload it – its working again

  • Please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact, and we will check what might be the reason.

Hi, I sent two messages with login data yesterday – I used your message form...

  • ok now it works I hope ;)

  • Now I received your dashboard. Thank you.

However, I checked some of your pages, and the changes work properly.

    Also, images can be changed.

Does it happen on particular pages, or are there any steps to reproduce it?

    Best regards

    Hi,

it doesnt work on any page – see screenshot: If I change the text and push "Update" nothing changes... images are editable

  • I just checked it with Windows 11 and Edge – same...

  • and what else is weird – if i click on text or visual in the editor – nothing changes also... it should change the view or not?

  • Also with Windows 10 and Edge – same behavior... no changes are saved.

  • On a Mac with Firefox or Chrome also

  • now I used the muffinfgroup account – same...

  • Can you tell me the page's name from your screenshot, please?

    Thanks

  • Home neu – but it happens on any other page too...

  • Now it works – what the hack is going on?

  • I just checked that page with Firefox and Chrome on Windows 11, and everything works flawlessly.

Please contact your server administrator, and ask if you do not have any caching tool enabled on your server.

    Best regards

  • no there is nothing active – I checked it before but suddenly it works...

  • There are several other wordpress sites on this server and they all work fine

Zend OP Cache is running – but wordpress doesnt recognize it – right? Wordpress always says there is no caching framework active...

  • Zend OP Cache is set up on the server, so I am not sure how would you like WordPress to recognize it.

    Is it keep working correctly?

    Best regards

  • I'm not sure if there is a way to make WP recognize Zend OP Cache – didnt find something in the documentation.

  • Sorry but this is not Betheme related, and unfortunately, I cannot help.

It would be best if you contact your web developer regarding this.

sorry but it does not work. Today I wanted to edit some text – same as before.

Added a new section and a text element with placeholder text – that worked. But now I cant change the placeholder text.

  • I can add and delete elements but I cant change the text...

  • Do you have this caching enabled on your server?

Please check if the same thing happens on another browser.

    Best regards

  • I did check it on several machines and different browsers – as I said before.
