Keep getting E_ERROR in bebuilder

Since a few version ago, I am now on the latest (Betheme: 26.8.2) I keep getting the following error when using Wordpress. Not just in the builder but also when logging into wp-admin and other pages on my website. The site just shows the generic error screen but I get sent the error by email from Wordpress which points to bebuilder specifically:

Error details

===========

An error of type E_ERROR occurred on line number 39 of the file /var/www/vhosts/sintsebastiaen.nl/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/betheme/functions/builder/class-mfn-builder.php. Error message: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 5242880 bytes)

Other versions of my install are as follows:

WordPress versie 6.1.1

Actief thema: Betheme Child (versie 2.0)

PHP versie 7.4.33

Since it makes working with Wordpress very annoying, and I cannot raise the memory limit for this instance, please consider rewriting this code so it does not use as much memory and crash the process.

64MB should be more than enough for any normal PHP function I would say.

Best,

Tijs

Comments

  • Hello,

    In Betheme -> System status, you can find the minimum requirement for our theme is 128MB, so nevertheless, this value should be higher.

    However, you can check if this message appears when you turn off all of the plugins, refresh your cache and switch your child theme to parent.

    Thanks
