Shop page with the tuning template

Hi there,

I choose a non woocommerce website from the template, but I need to get a woocommerce done with the tuning template.

I've read some guides about how to get started with creating a shop page but i'm not understanding what I need to do.

Also, the footer on the website doesn't appear to be working?

Thanks in advance!

  • Hi,

    1) Please see the following link:

    https://support.muffingroup.com/documentation/woocommerce/how-to-use-woocommerce-with-betheme/

There you will find an explanation of how to use WooCommerce with Betheme.

    2) Regarding the Footer, I would need a link to your website. Please send it, and I will take a look at what might be the reason.

    Thanks

  • Hi there, here's the link. Still in developpement ;) [Links visible only for registered users]

While I have you here, can I replace the big letter that have a grid-dot pattern inside? If you have a PSD file that would be wonderful!

    Thanks for helping Phil!

One more question. How do I customize the shop page with a left-hand menu for filtering products? In the video they said not to add anything on the shop page so i'm a little confused. Also choosing the width of where the products are displayed and choose the width of the sidebar?

Oh the tuning theme doesn't come with widgets to add to the sidebar, that's why! Can I import them in perhaps?

    Many thanks

  • 1) For a PSD, please send us your request privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at [Links visible only for registered users].

    2) To check the footer, I will need your WP dashboard. Please send it privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at [Links visible only for registered users] and we will check what might be the reason.

    Thanks

  • Email has been sent! Thanks :)

  • Your widgets areas are empty.

To show the Footer and shop sidebar, you need to fill them.

  • Hi Phil,

I've started the site with the Tuning template without trying to load anything. I've added the sidebar but it is not appearing in the widget section.

I don't understand ... i've loaded the tuning template. Created the sidebar with betheme settings and sidebar called "helsidebar" but when I go to the widget sections, I can only see footers and no sidebar settings.

  • I can see that your license key is not registered now.

Can you register it again, please?

  • I've figured out the demo didn't import correctly. I'm using cloudways and spun up at least 7 instances since it was never working, widgets were missing, footers were missing sometimes etc...

For people running cloudways, you need to change the application settings for these php_fpm values:

    ;php_admin_value[memory_limit]=512M

    ;php_admin_value[max_execution_time]=120

    ;php_admin_value[max_input_time]=300

    ;php_admin_value[post_max_size]=25M

    ;php_admin_value[upload_max_filesize]=20M

    ;php_admin_value[max_input_vars]=5000

    ;php_admin_value[max_file_uploads]=128

Hopefully that can help out someone ;)

I want to add some settings which i'm not sure how to do.

I've loaded the Tuning template, added a sidebar called "helsidebar" and create a shop archive template page and imported the demo page from https://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme-store2/shop/

But there's some missing options on the shop page, the sidebar doesn't appear anywhere in the widgets?

I've sent you another email with the site.

    Thanks!

  • I had to re-create the woocommerce pages, edit the shop page via the betheme template and then the sidebar appeared.

but the woocommerce pages (shop and single product) doesn't have the same style as the tuning site.

sorry for all this trouble :(

  • Do not be sorry, and I am here to help you.

However, please tell me what you want to achieve now.

I do not want to misunderstand you.

    Thanks

  • Since the tuning template doesn't come with a woocommerce pre-configured, I have to build it and i'm pretty lost.

I would like to add the look and feel of this woocommerce template https://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme-store2/shop/ to my tuning template. Single product and shop template that would adopt the style of the tuning template.

Thank you so much for all your support!

  • Thanks Phil, i've seen these but I can't replicate the product single like I have.

This is the page setup that I want

and I want to add the section that explains the product like this

[Links visible only for registered users]

  • The product description you need to add directly in the product edit, and to display it with the template, you need to use the Product Content element.

    Best regards

  • Ok but I wanted to replicate the current page setup.

But that doesn't look like a template, it looks like just the default single product page and i can't replicate that to a new single product template.

  • As mentionned above, that's the product template I want to use.

For my oil filter products, I want to add an extra description as seen here [Links visible only for registered users]

I don't think i'm using a single product template for my current product [Links visible only for registered users]

    Thanks for helping again

  • Do you need access to the backend of my site? I've sent the details via the email form on themeforest. Please let me know if I can help. I would really like to get this going today. Thanks! :)

Please open your single product template, and set up conditions to display on all of your products.

Then for all your products, the template will be assigned.

    Best regards

  • I don't have a single product template, that is what is confusing me.

  • I'm using the default single product page:

    It looks like this:

For some products, I want to add the same additional information at the bottom like this:

For all MAHLE oil filters, that section should appear at the bottom.

The problem is that when I add a new single product template for the MAHLE products, it doesn't look like my current default single product page (not a template)

  • Let me know if I can provide more information.

  • Please see the following screenshots:

You have a single product template, but it is only assigned to one category.

    Best regards

  • Hi Phil, yes but that's not the template that is showing for my products.

  • This is the default page setup that I want:

My single product template is not the same as the default setup for some reason.

  • Preview in the template takes the product that was created first (no matter what category it is assigned to).

I have added a condition to assign this template to the entire website.

    Please check your products now.

    Best regards

  • YES! That's it! WOO! Thank you! Ok that's the first thing :)

I'm really sorry, I don't understand how the whole thing is working. I'm so lost.

You said "I have added a condition to assign this template to the entire website" but which template is this? The auto draft?

    How did you do this?

Now, for my oil products, I have 3 different type of oil products which I want to assign extra data to them.

IE: All MAHLE products, no matter what SKU it is, should have this extra information at the bottom of the product:

  • Yes, Auto Draft is the template I edited. When you click on Edit with BeBuilder button, you will be redirected to the template editor, and when you click on the update button, a popup will appear, and there you can assign conditions where this template should appear.

There you can also add new elements and additional data.

You can also have more than one template for your products and assign different layouts to different categories or tags.

    Best regards

  • I've created another single product template for my MANN filters products.

I edited the product: [Links visible only for registered users]

and selected Custom Single Product Template mann filters

But I only get the bottom of the template?
