Unable to edit shop archive templates (BeTheme v27.0.7)
Hi support team,
I'm unable to edit a new shop archive template in order to create a custom shop page. I'm guessing this is due to the newest BeTheme update? I'm running v27.0.7. User nguyenilight reported the same issue earlier: https://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/69380/how-to-edit-the-template.
First I watched the "How to create Custom Shop Template with Muffin Woo Builder?" YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_pIKnewTO8&t=55s) but I got stuck at the step where I have to edit the template with the BeBuilder.
Instead of seeing the BeBuilder user interface I see my WordPress Admin's Post List page (just like what user nguyenilight experienced):
I already:
- changed from the child to the main theme
- deactivated all my plugins (except WooCommerce)
- refreshed the cache
These steps did not solve the issue.
How can I solve this?

Hi,
Did you ensure that you have the shop page set in the WooCommerce settings as described in the topic you mentioned?
If not, please do that.
If you already have it set up, please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact, and we will check what might be the reason.

Hi,
Thanks, I got it to work. It wasn't clear to me that I first had to create a new page, then choose it as a WooCommerce Shop page and THEN create and edit the Shop archive template. It seems that if I create the template first (as shown in the video) before creating a new page and choosing it as the WooCommerce Shop page it causes buggy behavior.
As feedback: to avoid confusion for others I would suggest to update the steps to create a new custom shop page, because I followed steps exactly as in the video and the part of assigning the Shop page to WooCommerce came after editing the Shop archive template, not before.
Assigning a shop page is a standard procedure for all websites that use WooCommecere, but thank you for your suggestion.
We will consider updating this, as you mentioned, to avoid confusion.
Best regards
