Activate BeTheme child theme or main theme?
I currently have BeTheme verison 17.8.3. I understand that I have to remove this version and install the latest version. Hopefully all goes well with the installation. I want to use the child theme version. Once it is installed which do I activate, the child theme or the main theme?
I took over maintaining this site from the original developer who is no longer available so I can't ask him if any changes were made to the original theme. It would be useful to know if any changes had been made.

To make the child theme work, you also need to have a parent installed, but the child theme should be the one active.

Before performing updates, and other actions, I suggest creating a backup of your website with the Duplicator plugin.
