How to use fonts with special characters like cyrilic or polish?

This topis is for all those who want to use fonts with special characters like cyrilic or polish.

For Be|theme we used over than 600 google fonts. If you want to use fonts with special characters, at first you need to visit Google fonts website and select script that you want to use. Then you need to click on "Quick use" button next to font that you are interested in. Below image will explain it better:



After that, you need to select right scripts for font and copy the part of subset from link generated on google font page into Theme options > Fonts > Font family section. Below image will explain it better also:

This solution dosn't work on my site. I set subset cyrillic but still polish letter appear in wrong font. 

On mobile version is ok but PC IE and Chrome show wrong letters.

@tekus Check on google font's page because maybe the font you are using, does not support polish characters.

It is Open Sans, On other site i have no problems with polish characters.

Thanks for the site address. We didn't saw it previously but this was very helpful to verify what you did wrong. You set cyrillic-ext as subset (cyrillic is for Russian language). As we know, for polish characters, latin-ext should be set as subset.

Hello,

I have the same issue, but I set "latin-ext" and it still does not work, only for some characters like "ž", but for example characters "ň" and "ľ" didn't fix with "latin-ext". I use Google fonts "Lato" and "Roboto". Both fonts include every special character from my language. I use Slovak language. I tried topic you added before (http://forum.muffingroup.com/brandon/discussion/257/how-to-use-fonts-with-special-characters-like-cyrilic-or-polish) but it does not work. My website is www.lafemmefatale.sk

@ApproxLine If you look at http://pasteboard.co/H0y5Qoy.png you will see that those letters does not exist for this font.

I have similar problem ... my site is https://land4travel.com, I don't have polish letters like ż, ę in Roboto, those are in Arial...
