If you choose to reset the database, then yes, your current pages will be removed.
However, if you skip this step, all your pages will stay untouched. In this situation, the whole demo will import without interfering with what you created.
If you want to check how it will behave, you can create a staging domain with a copy of your website and import the pre-built website there first.

I suggest using the Duplicator plugin to create a copy of the website.
