Hi,
You can activate it in Betheme -> Theme options -> Global -> Image frame.
But there is no setting to replace the icons with text.

Is there a way to provide an area where you can make 2 choices (links) when you mouse over the image?
image mouse over -> Two areas on top of the image are over ( title / title) -> Give each link
There is no element that would allow achieve that.
I might be done with a custom CSS, but you should contact your web developer regarding this.
