Insurance Theme: Footer File

I am using the Insurance theme.  I was a little disappointed to see that the footer was part of the page and not a separate file.  Is there way to have a default footer file that isn't part of the page?  I would like to use some of the widgets and add a menu to the footer. 

I went searching and I couldn't find anything that matched what I was looking for.

Also, I am noticied the footer in the source code.  Just not displaying.  I am assuming there some code I have to comment out?

Hi,

please check Theme options > Custom CSS & JS > Custom CSS section because there is probably css responsible for hiding footer. Just remove this code and after you can use default footer and widgets as well.

Ah perfect!  You were right there was one of the plugins that gets installed with the them that is doing it.
