Is it possible to add a font to the dropdown list that is not already there?

The font in question is https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Belanosima

Thanks, however there are multiple weights to be used - implementing with Google Fonts is the best solution.

Can you advise how to add the font to the eligible list?

Also, perhaps perform an update on what is available from Google in general?

Google fonts are built-in into theme so you can't add them yourself. Only we can do this with theme update. The only thing you can do yourself is upload custom font as mentioned above.

Thanks - in the meantime, could you please sneak in this one font for the next update please?

I'd hate for a theme update to override and reset the font.
