Problems changing the background color of the footer.

Good afternoon. Accessing through the path 'Betheme - Theme Options - Colors - Footer,' I tried to change the background color of the footer of the website I am building. The color I wanted for the footer background was #24A54C (green). Since it apparently didn't work, I tried it with the color #3807FE (blue). The result is that now the background color of the footer on the mobile version is green, and on the PC, it's blue. I have attached images of everything. Please, how can I fix this?

  • Hi,

do you have default footer from theme options or create one under Templates with Footer Builder?

  • I've created it through 'theme options' and the content using the 'appearance' - 'widgets' options in WordPress.

  • Well, yes. I have used a pre-built web page. Could that be the issue?

  • The thing is, I just reviewed the pre-built webpage I used, and it has a white-colored footer. So I changed it successfully afterward. But now it's not changing.

  • If it's default footer based on theme options, you should be able to change color from Theme Options -> Colors -> Footer section. Of course, SKIN has to be set to custom as custom colors works when CUSTOM skin is set.

So, if all is set correctly and footer background still doesn't change, please send us the WordPress dashboard and FTP access privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact, and we will check what might be the reason.

  • Hi,

I received your private message, but currently, you have another theme active, and the inactive version of Betheme is ancient:

Moreover, you do not have WP up-to-date. Please proceed with updates on your website and activate Betheme. Also, I highly recommend creating a backup of your website with the Duplicator plugin.

    Thanks

  • Thank you very much for your help. The issue has been resolved by updating the theme. Best regards!
