Locally cached fonts keep downloading forever
Hi,
A weird issue has appeared where the locally cached fonts setting and pressing Download Fonts will keep loading forever. It doesn't seem to download the fonts, either.

Hello,
Please turn off all of the plugins, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.
Moreover, if you use a child theme, switch to parent and recheck it.
Also, before clicking on the download button, open the browser console and check if you do not have any errors there.
Thanks
Hi,
I got the following error now: XMLHttpRequest cannot load https://dev2.(hidden).eu/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php due to access control checks.
I tried disabling all plugins, also with parent theme. With parent theme I got the following error appearing after clicking Download fonts:
With child theme I got the following fonts partially downloaded but they seem to be getting stuck somehow:
In that case, you should contact your hosting provider and ask to take a look at this.
Notice that most of the files are empty.
Best regards
Ok I will check it out and let you know.
Hi,
We have so far been unsuccessful in solving this issue. Our host replied:
My colleague from the shift before tried to temporarily disable the firewall, also mod_security but none fixed the issue.
I temporarily tried with newer PHP version, as also I tried disabling your custom settings in your .htaccess, as also thes ones in wp-content/.htaccess and wp-content/uploads/.htaccess
I tried uploading other files and fonts and each time it works straight away except for the ones that the Theme is supposed to download.
I found at least 2 similar articles where the theme developer blamed the hosting settings but none of them were resolved:
Hi,
Just for info, we got it working. Here's what the server admin said:
It looks like it was caused by IPv6.
Most likely, there is some conflict in the connection between your server and Google servers.
If you want us to take a look at this please send us the WordPress dashboard and FTP access privately through the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact, and maybe this time we will find something new, but it is a regular file download to the server, and should work properly.

At the moment it seems to work properly but if you want to check yourself, let me know.
I did not notice your message about the IPv6.
So indeed it was related to the server configuration, and your hosting provider managed to correct that?
Best regards
