php version issues
My website recently tanked and gave the following error: Your server is running PHP version 5.6.40 but WordPress 6.4.1 requires at least 7.0.0.
I'm confused as my server is running PHP version 7.4. My hosting support said that it must be a problem with the them. Can Someone please asssit?

HI Phill
Thank you for the guidance, but it did not work for me. I added the phpinfo.php file as suggested, but get an Error 403 when trying to load the http://domain.com/phpinfo.php link.
Here's my the link: https://mistertech.co.za/phpinfo.php
Please let me know what else I can do.
Please send us the WordPress dashboard and FTP access privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact, and we will check what might be the reason.

It is not related to Betheme. Through the cPanel file manager, I deactivated Betheme on your website, and still, the same error message appears.
It has to be some server configuration, so I recommend contacting the hosting provider, as the PHP version is server configuration.
