WooCommerce widget enabled/disabled on different demo
Hello guys,
How can I enable WooCommerce widgets on this demo:
https://themes.muffingroup.com/be/software2/shop/
I would like to have the same filter sidebar on the left side like in this demo:
https://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme-store/shop/
I installed both the demo, but in this scenario (https://themes.muffingroup.com/be/software2/shop/) widgets are not active...
Any idea?

but this tutorial does not apply to this demo: https://themes.muffingroup.com/be/software2/shop/
In this case, if you go to Appearance -> Widget you only have an empty area and there's a message on the right bar saying "Your theme does not contain any widget areas."
Please send us the WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact, and we will check what might be the reason.

what was the problem?
Was the problem related to my configuration? Or was a theme related issue?
What if I install the "software2" demo on another website?
It was because there were no widgets in the widgets area. I had to create a new sidebar through theme options, add it to a page, and add the widget to this sidebar through WP customizer.

anyway, I'm not sure I got the procedure...
You tell that you created a new sidebar through theme options, but I don't see this sidebar in the theme options: it should appear in the list go the user-created sidebars...
What I get, instead, is that after your intervention, I regularly see the widgets in the Appearance -> Widget area, as it should be...
So far, I can only suppose that the "software2" demo has some setting and/or glitch which prevents the widgets to appear where they should...
I've tried also with a fresh install of BeTheme:
You do not see this sidebar because I removed it after the whole process.
We are aware of this issue, and the fix I described is the only solution we figured out so far. We are looking for solutions to prevent this from happening.
