Website suddenly loading slowing

I run two websites using Betheme. Starting yesterday, both have started to load very slowly. A page speed insight test returns 37/38 on mobile for both. The theme and all plugins are up to date and I have not made any content updates in the past several days. Why would both suddenly start to load slowly and how can I fix this?

    I can see that you use Slider Revolution on both websites. It is a powerful tool, but apart from its capabilities, it also really has a huge impact on page speed.

    On your place I would start from deactivating Slider Revolution and check if the performance improves.
