Hello team, I am having trouble with my site icon updating on Google.

I have gone through and changed the site icon in the customize tab on WordPress. The correct icon shows when I am on the website in the tab but whenever I search it on google the icon still shows the Be theme icon please help.

Hi,

You must change it in Betheme -> Theme options -> Global -> General.

Note that it must be a file with a .ico extension to work properly on all browsers.

I tried to upload a .ico file but was not allowed to. This came up whenever I tried to upload it to my media in WordPress.

You must install the Disable Real MIME Check plugin, and then you will be able to upload this type of file.
