BeTheme Import Export Template

I am trying to export the template from the staging server but I am not getting any output so I am not able to import any template to live server. I have to deregister theme on the staging in-order activate on live server. Also is there a way to activate the theme on the staging server too? Because we do the changes on the staging before moving to live. Please help.
