Sections spacing

Hi team! First, let me start by saying I'm not a developer - all I've learned about Wordpress is by trial and error ^_^U
I'm currently volunteering with a charity doing their website, and I'm struggling with the space between sections. I've checked that there are no values on the margin/padding boxes - which seems to work well for containers, but when I create two different sections, the space between them is huge!

I've tried to create two rows of containers instead of duplicating sections, but for some reason it doesn't allow me to do so :(
Can anyone help with this? (I use Elementor, as I'm familiar with it already.)

Do you refer to this for example?:
There is a top and bottom padding assigned to these sections.
If you reduce padding assigned to sections, the spacing will be smaller.

Yes! I mean exactly that - Phil! It's good to know that is doable. I just need to find someone who knows enough coding to make that change...
No coding is required. You must edit your pages, edit your sections, and adjust the padding values in them:

Ok, now I get it. Even if it doesn't show a value, there's one assigned 'secretly' - as soon as you put any number (including 0) it changes.
