Setting wrapper custom width causes wrapper to shift to the right

When I set a custom width on the wrap (to match the width of the image file), the wrap shifts to the right. Why?

I just want the .jpg file to be centered on the page. If I set up a custom width, it shifts the .jpg to the right, as show on the screen shot.
