PDF file in an extra window

Hi,

two questions.

I have a menu item at the bottom of the footer with an individual menu "AGB", behind which there is only a PDF file.

If I click on this menu item on the PC, the PDF file should open in a separate window.

The PDF link does not work at all in the smartphone display.

Hi,

I have checked that, and the PDF is displayed on the mobile display for me.

Maybe your browser does not handle PDFs.

If the mobile browser does not handle PDF files, there is nothing we can do or suggest, as it is a browser limitation.

maybe I did not express myself correctly. I would like to assign a target="_blank" to this menu "AGB" so that the customer's website remains and the PDF file opens in a new window.

To assign target="_blank" to the menu item in Appearance -> Menus open Screen Options, and check Link Target option.
