Infinite Load Bug?

Hello. Just checking to see if this is a bug. The category is set to show 16 products per page with infinite load as you scroll. However, if you click on 8, to show only 8 products, the infinite load no longer works.

I don't think it's a big deal, but a client pointed that out.
