I am trying to change <pre>Code Bacgound color, but it does not work.

Hi,

Try the following CSS code instead:

.column_code pre{
 background: #f0f!important;
}

Put it in Betheme -> Theme options -> Custom CSS & JS -> CSS.

But I actually wanted to keep the striped pattern in the background.

Replace the previous code with the following one:

.column_code pre{
 background: -webkit-linear-gradient(bottom,#0ff 50%,#ff0 50%);
 background-size: 42px 42px;
}
