Problem with the WPML translation of a template-footer

Hi Muffingroup,

i got a little problem with the translation of the template-footer (and pre-footer) on the english version of my website https://ardex75years.com/en/

As you can see, the pre-footer gets translated but the style is not executed.

The footer itself is not even displayed. You can see an example of how it should look here: https://ardex75years.com/

Do you have any idea what could be causing this?

If needed, ich can send you access for the backend.

Best regards

Julian

  • Hi,

i send the login via the contact form.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Your translated version of the footer was in the Trash.

I have corrected that, and now the english version displays correctly.

  • Hi,

the footer itslef is now shown correctly - thanks for the quick solution.

The problem with the pre-footer (section "ardex pre-footer") still exists.

Unfortunately, the color of the text is not being applied, resulting in black-on-black text.

  • Did you create a translation for this global section and assign a translated template for the English version of your page?

  • HI,

yes, there is a translation of the global section and its shown on the english version of the page. The problem is the color of the text that is not apllied correct. For some reason the textcolor of the global section changes to black, when i switch to the english version.

  • Please recheck it now.

  • Hi,

    the problem is still there.

As you can see in the attached screenshot, the text ist displayed but the color is still wrong. It should be white, not black.

  • Sorry, I overlooked that.

I have assigned this color in the template:

    Thanks for the help!
