YOAST SEO not working (completely)

Hello,

I tried all the steps from this topic but nothing seems to work.

It says I have no external or internal links.

You are not using Builder -> SEO option on your pages.

    Please see the following article:

    Best regards

  • @Phil ,

    I did this (multiple times).

Did you check the exact page I referred to?

search on 'Aalst' in the pages.

I could send you a print screen to prove I did it.

Is it possible to respond/ fix it within 10 hours?

    I'm bleeding money here.

  • I also clearly mentioned I did all the steps from the previous thread (look at first post).

    I click on export.

    Click on the SEO button.

Indeed then I see the content is 'double'.

After that I click the 'hide' button.

    Double content is hidden.

My SEO is indeed better then but there is still something wrong.

    Check the 'accordion' element.

There are about 20 links in there.

Still Yoast says it can't find links (except for one, which I suppose is the link to my contact page, which is not 'hidden' in an element like the accordion.

  • There is clearly something wrong with the accordion element.

When I check the Wordpress viewer I can see the html that has indeed one outgoing link (to my contact page).

However, the accordion doesn't mention any link, which doesn't make sense.

The links are in your builder.

They don't show up when I generate.

    Bebuilder: outgoing links in accordion

wordpress (no link in accordion element)

  • Sorry, you did not mention this page anywhere here, and I overlooked that in the private message.

Answering your question, YOAST does not parse shortcodes, only the content, so it will not analyze the content in the construction you created.

    Best regards

  • @Phil , are there other elements where Yoast will be able to read the links?

I don't have problems with these with other themes, only with muffin group so far.

Can you please guide a bit more instead of these short answers?

    You're not really helping.

It's the second time you don't answer my question because you don't read the message completely.

  • Actually, any element that is not placed as a shortcode has the option to insert a link within it.

I have answered your initial question about links in accordion, and I am sorry if I was not clear that you should use actual elements, not shortcodes, for the YOAST SEO content readability.

So, if you put these links in some other elements, it will work properly.

    Best regards
