I can't update my wordpress theme
Hello, a web programmer made my site and he doesn't work with me anymore.
When I update the PHP version of my site the page is not looking good (estudionalca.cl) and when I try to update the theme fron my wordpress pannel it tells me that it is not possible.
I bought a license again, in case the license that the programmer had bought had a problem. Now I want, with this new license, to update the template of my website.

1) The website does not look good, as it appears that you do not have the WPBakery plugin active. Please activate it and recheck your website.
2) Do you receive error messages or similar messages when trying to update Betheme? If yes, please explain what they say.

Thank you for your answer Phil. Yes, I do receive this error message when trying to update Betheme: "An error occurred while updating Betheme. The package could not be unzipped. The package contains no files. "
And now I tried to activate WPBakery plugin and I got this error: There has been a critical error on this site. Please check your site administrator's email inbox for instructions.
I upgraded the PHP version to 8.2 some time ago and since then the web started to fail.

And if I go to my desktop (in recovery mode) and go to the WPBakery plugin I get this information: An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR occurred on line 664 of the file /home3/sunna/estudionalca.cl/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/classes/editors/class-vc-frontend-editor.php. Error message: Unparenthesized `a ? b : c ? d : e` is not supported. Use either `(a ? b : c) ? d : e` or `a ? b : (c ? d : e)`.
These messages could mean that your license key is used on multiple domains. Please use the license manager to handle your license keys: http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/36219/cannot-register-deregister-your-license-key-use-this-tool#latest.
If you see (on our license manager) that your license key is registered on a single domain or it is not registered anywhere, then please disable all of the plugins and deregister that license key (through the BeTheme -> Dashboard).
After that, get into the license manager once more. If the license key is still claimed - deregister it. If it’s not, register it again on your domain (through the BeTheme -> Dashboard) and try to update your theme/plugins couple of times (usually, it passes after 2-3 attempts) - remember, all of the plugins have to be disabled.

Thanks Phil, but I still can't resolve this issue.
If I try to check my license through the license manager, I get the following message: The purchase code has not been used to register Betheme or the username does not match the purchase code.
And if I go to wordpress (through Betheme/dashboard) and try to unregister the theme, nothing changes.
Please send us your license key, the WordPress dashboard, and FTP access privately through the contact form, which is on the right side at https://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact, and we will check what might be the reason.

When your registration file looks this way (you cannot enter the license key, and the deregistration button does not work), it means that the person who installed the theme took it from an illegal source.
Please download a fresh Betheme package from ThemeForest and replace the one you currently have with the downloaded one. After that, everything should start working properly.

Since the site was created with an illegally acquired template, I would like to start from scratch with wordpress and install a template that I like better. Please let me know if it is possible to make a change of template purchase. Thanks
With the license you purchased, you have access to all pre-built websites.
After you install Betheme on your domain, go to Betheme -> Pre-built websites, and choose any demo you like. There is no need to re-purchase.
