Contact form not working

Hi, I tried the contact form a few months ago before launching the website, and it was working fine. But now it appears not to be working! I don't get any errors when editing the form or submitting a text message. Could you please help?

  • Ok, something is not right.

    1. I have created a new contact form on Contact 7 following a step-by-step tutorial and it is still not working. I have also installed and configured WP Forms and it doesn't work either.
    2. Logo and top button have stopped showing on the mobile version, although I check the header template and it appears ok (see attached images).
    3. I keep getting a notification that there's an update available for the theme, but when I try to install it, it says "the package contains no files" (screenshots of this too)

  • 1) Did you contact the plugin author?

    2) Please always attach a link to your website so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost), then our help will be limited. You will have to contact us when the page is online. Also, please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us with the link.

    3) This message could mean that your license key is used on multiple domains. Please use the license manager to handle your license keys:

    If you see (on our license manager) that your license key is registered on a single domain or it is not registered anywhere, then please disable all of the plugins and deregister that license key (through the BeTheme -> Dashboard).

    After that, get into the license manager once more. If the license key is still claimed - deregister it. If it’s not, register it again on your domain (through the BeTheme -> Dashboard) and try to update your theme a couple of times (usually, it passes after 2-3 attempts) - remember, all of the plugins have to be disabled.


  • 1) I requested to join to discuss issues on Contact Form 7 forum (still waiting to be authorised). But if 2 different plugins are not working (Contact 7 & WPforms), I'm not sure the problem is the plugin... I have also tested domain email address - working fine.


    3) The license key was registered with the subdomain where I developed the website before transferring it to the main url. I recently deleted that WP installation, which appears to be the cause of the update issues. Theme updated now.

    4) The logo issues on the mobile version persist (checked after clearing cache)

  • 1) To determine whether the plugin is the root cause, please temporarily activate another theme, like Twenty Twenty-Four, and check if the problem persists.

    2, 4) Please send us the WordPress dashboard access privately through the contact form, which is on the right side at and we will check what might be the reason.

  • Ok, I've tried another theme and the contact form issue persists, so I think I'll need to seek specialist help there.

    But I believe I've found the issue with the mobile version logo/button/menu icon. It appears they're linked to the url of the development website I recently deleted 🙄 I've been able to replace the organisation's logo as I have a copy of it, but I'm not sure how to replace the button/menu icons - do you have a tutorial I could read about it?
