How do you change the image gallery display size?

I am using an image gallery on my posts. When you click on one of the thumbnail tiles, the image does a fullscreen display that makes it difficult to exit back to the website because of how much of the screen it takes up.

Can I change it so that the enlarged photo takes up less of the screen?

You can try the following CSS code:

.mfp-figure figure{
 width: 90%;
 margin-left: auto;
 margin-right: auto
}

Put it in Betheme -> Theme options -> Custom CSS & JS -> CSS.
