fixed image below header
Hi,
I want to have a fixed background image for my entire website, the image shall cover the whole screen, but it must begin only under the header (not stretch behind the header) since the upper top of the image has a color gradient so it will gradually blend into the header color (in case the image stretches behind the header this gradient will not be visible).
The header is manually created using the Header Builder.
I uploaded the desired image under
"theme options - global - general - background"
First question: Which settings do I have to use so that the picture will cover the whole screen on any device?
Second question: With any setting I try, the image seems to be stretching in the background behind the header, so the visual gradient is not visible. What do I need to do to let the upper top of the image start exactly under the header?
Thanks!

Hi,
Please always attach a link to your website so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost), then our help will be limited. You will have to contact us when the page is online. Also, please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us with the link.
Thanks
Hi Phil,
unfortunately, the site is still under maintenance, here is an exemplary picture to show what I want to achieve:
So my question:
How can I make the background image (inserted in the Betheme options under general) stretch up only to the bottom of my custom header, not up to the top of the screen?
or in other words: how can I avoid parts of the background image being hidden by the custom header.
Thank you.
A custom CSS code might be required for that, but to be sure, I would need access to your website.
If you can, please send us the WordPress dashboard access privately through the contact form, which is on the right side at https://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what the reason might be.

thank you Phil,
I've sent you the wp login data through the contact form.
the background image is uploaded to wp-content/uploads and set as background picture under theme options - general
Thanks and best regards
I have added a custom CSS code to your Betheme -> Theme options -> Custom CSS & JS -> CSS.
Please note that if you modify your header and it change its height, the custom CSS also must be adjusted.
Best regards
perfect, issue solved, thanks a lot
