when dropcap is used, the first letter of the excerpt is not showing

For example:
[dropcap background="" color="" circle="0"]K[/dropcap]yoto Protokolu’nu hala imzalamayan son ülkelerden biri.....

The "K" letter is not showing up in the excerpt.

How can we fix this?
