No Access to .htaccess File
Hi everyone,
I recently added BeBuilder to my WordPress site. It worked fine initially, but after about 10 minutes, I started getting a 404 error inside the editor. When I checked the Server Status under BeTheme settings, I found this message: 'Access to .htaccess is required for Cache. Please contact your hosting provider.'
Since my hosting is through WordPress.com, I reached out to their support, and they informed me that their servers run on NGINX and don’t use an .htaccess
file. They suggested contacting the theme author about using BeTheme with WordPress.com.
I thought BeTheme was optimized for WordPress, so this has me confused. I’ve already cleared my site cache, but the error persists. Has anyone else encountered this, or does anyone know a workaround? Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Access to the .htaccess file is required when using cache from theme options -> performance. It should not cause problems with BeBuilder.
