Content InEditor has disappeared

I use a child theme with BeTheme, but I have found today's parent theme update has caused the InEditor to disappear.

Version:  27.5.11

I felt the child theme version might've needed to be the same as the parent theme version, so I've since updated it, but to no joy.

I know this is a schoolboy error, and I should've created a backup prior to the update, but I didn't. I can't create a new staging site on which this issue sits, as I'm at the final point of deploying a new site to Live.

Would be grateful for swift help.

  • Hello,

Please, turn off all of the plugins, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.

Moreover, switch the child theme to the parent, and recheck it.

    Thanks

  • Thanks for your suggestion, Phil.

I disabled the plugins one by one and found the issue persisted. I also switched to the parent theme and had the same outcome. The only "fix," albeit a temporary one, is to switch to TwentyTwentyFour, post the content (Blog), and switch back to the desired child theme. I've raised a ticket and believe your team is now investigating.
