Issues with migration to different hosting solution

I'm having the exact same issue.

I want to move my site from a GoDaddy Wordpress Hosting to my own.

A migration was made on a sub domain for testing, but when trying to move to the root domain, all the assets are missing, as they are using hardlinks to the subdomain rather than variables.

Is there a setting to change that? I couldn't find any
