  • Hi,

You can do that with a Query Loop slider.

    See the following video tutorials:

  • Hi there

I have tried everything and i cannot get the "Banner Box" to work on a slider carousel I looked at the video and it doesn't seem to show how to work with the element I need to use and looks like a different version.

Please can you help as this is now a massive issue and I will need to use a different theme otherwise, which I don't want to do as I like your theme

    Please help.

  • There are a couple of videos as it is a playlist, and indeed, it does not show Banner Box element, but they show how to use Query Loops in general.

If it remains unclear to you, please explain what information you exactly need to show in this slider with Banner Box, and I will provide you with more detail on the steps you need to proceed.

  • Hi There

I am sorry but they did nothing but confuse us, lol! Please find the expliantion of what we need to do

Ok so here is what I need to happen, the 9 "Banner Boxes" See attachement, need to scroll on one line right or left when on a mobile or when we need to on the full site, if you look at the current live "Old" site www.tinastraveldeals.co.uk on a mobile on the first section "Latest Holiday Deals" then you will see that you can go right or left and it auot scrolls.

That is what I need on new.tinastraveldeals.co.uk

I only have tomorrow to get the site finished, please help me

  • Hi There

Please can you help me as I am on a deadline!

  • Sorry, you wrote beyond my working time. We send answers at 12 PM, 2 PM, and 4 PM (CET).

You must have a Post type for this. A good choice is Portfolio, as it has many useful fields.

In the WP panel, go to Portfolio and click on Add New.

There start creating content for your slides. Add title and set featured image:

Scroll down to the Description section. These fields can be used for the data you need (ignore their titles):

They can be used in any order you want, just remember which information goes where.

There is still a price missing, but for that, you can use the excerpt field:

When all the data you need is entered, click the publish button.

After that go to the page where you need the slider, and create a Query Loop with a Banner Box:

As the phone number is the same for all, in the CTA field use the simple test as you have it right now:

I hope it is more clear right now.

If you have any more questions about that, please let me know.

    Best regards
